Meet Darlene Devienne
Behind the Name
The Meaning of Darla DeviDarla Devi is a play on my first and middle names, Darlene Devienne, names that carry pieces of my family with them. My first name comes from my grandmother, while my middle name comes from my father.
For me, bringing the two together represents something deeper; duality and balance.
The feminine and masculine energies we each encounter in life can offer different strengths such as; intuition and action, creativity and structure, vision and execution.
Darla Devi represents what becomes possible when those forces work together rather than against one another: greater clarity, intentional movement, and the ability to see a path forward.
That philosophy has naturally become part of how we work.
Vision needs structure. Ideas need execution. People need systems.
Darla Devi exists in the balance between the two.
I’ve Always Been a Builder.
Entrepreneurship has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. Long before founding Darla Devi LLC in 2018. I was creating, selling, organizing, and finding ways to turn ideas into opportunities.
Over the years, that entrepreneurial instinct evolved into a passion for helping organizations work better. I've built back-office systems, supported teams of 30+ employees, developed workforce and community
programs, created training systems, supported fundraising initiatives, coordinated partnerships, and helped transform underused resources into marketable products.
Across every industry and project, my approach remains the same:
Understand the vision. Identify the gaps. Build what’s needed.
I founded Darla Devi because I believe great organizations don't always need more ideas, they often need the systems, structure, and support to execute the ideas they already have. I do not approach that work only as a consultant.
Through the Darla Devi ecosystem itself I continue to build brands, develop programs, create experiences, test systems, and navigate the realities of entrepreneurship firsthand.
I don't just advise businesses on how to build. I'm building, too.
